Organizing for the Long Haul: A Solidarity Halifax Conference

November 3, 2017-November 5, 2017

Solidarity Halifax is hosting a conference on the weekend of Friday November 3rd to Sunday November 5th at the Mi’kmaw Native Friendship Centre in Halifax.

The title and theme of the conference is ‘Organizing for the Long Haul’, with a focus on the need for long-term organization on the Left.

The conference will also aim to highlight the importance of incorporating anti-capitalist analysis into social movements strategies.

Different sections of the conference will focus on local struggles in anti-racism, worker’s movements, environmental justice, and what they all have in common.

We hope that through this conference attendees will consider becoming members of Solidarity Halifax.
